The definition of an atheist is:
Function: noun
: one who believes that there is no deity
There is nothing in this defintion about hate. Atheists don't necessarily hate Christians, Jews or any other person who believes in a diety. There is no consensus among atheists as to why they don't belive in some form of god. It's not an organized belief structure.
Most people are content to let others have thier own beliefs. Its when people of another religion try to push you or sway you to thier own belief system that can be irritating, juvenile and disrepectful.
If you do that, then yes. I'm sure some one somewhere hates you. But honestly, it's probably a waste of thier energy. And usually, if you *have* to ask a question like that, the answer is yes.

Why would you post this? Are you trying to start a religious war?
Why do you beleive that christians and atheist hate each other? For that fact unless you do hateful things there is no reason for anyone to hate anyone regardless of their religious beliefs or lack thereof. Besides for people who are ignorant. And these people are tolerated because the do not know any better.
It is people like you that give atheist a bad name.

I don't hate any of you. There's one Christian and one Muslim who really get me pretty mad, but hate? Naah. I haven't even heard of most of you.
