I cut up fresh strawberries and add bit of sugar to them and let them sit. After a bit, I put the strawberries and the juice on top of the ice cream. Usually, I stir this up and enjoy!! Sometimes I add cake...either white cake or chocolate cake...double yummy!

For me, if the ice cream is of high quality, it stays as is.
For my four-year-old, the ice cream is dressed in chocolate sprinkles, Oreo crumbles and whipped cream with a cherry on top.

I have a few toppings that I like. We sometimes mix up peanut butter and syrup...heat that up and then drizzle it over our ice cream. Or I like hot fudge...or strawberries that have been mixed with sugar and set for a few hours. It is really good if you use the strawberries and then add hot fudge or chocolate syrup..mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

fruit is my favorite...fresh pineapple or blueberries are good, but the best is warm apples that have been cooked down a bit--too chunky for applesauce, but perfect for topping some vanilla bean ice cream. Yum!
