Can POISON IVY really cause DEATH or is that JUST A HOAX?

Some people are severely allergic to it so I suppose it is possibly.

I've had it probably 6 or 7 times. I never once came close to dying. I've also never heard of anybody dying from it. Saying that I wonder though. Is it possible? Good question.

If you burn it, and inhale the smoke, I think things would be looking pretty grim. Of course you could also die of complications, ie- you could get an infection from scratching the rash and if you don't take care of it properly you could die.
