I was thinking a forign name. I like Jolie( french for pretty), Bella(french for beautiful) ,and if it's a boy maybe Beau(french for handsome),or Caliente (spanish for hot). The kitten is a calico manx(tailess).

Well, first, if it's a calico - it's a girl!! Congratulations. There are no male calico's. I think of the names you mention I like Bella the best - anything with Jolie in it has been well over publicized as of late, and it would look like you were naming her after the actress.

yes, calicos are usually girls and fully ginger colored cats are males. anyway, i have a calico, she's a little spitfire, and smart..she taught herself to pee in the toilet(hasn't leearn't to flush yet) and she taught me how to play cat fetch. is has a hot temper just like a redhead. i called her Cali. i also have a tiny tabby female with a short almost curled tail like a piggy and i call her Curley Sue because of it. i have 23 cats, yes you read right, 23. rusty, lola, cali, simon, laurel, prinny, chubby, wobbly, onyx, toby, tiger lily, rose bud, sandy, spot, tweed, lambykins, kitten, sterling, curley sue, joe, katie, bleau, and one unnamed kitten.
i have black cats, tabbies, dilute gingers and dilute tabbies, tuxedos and apple head siamese, long hair and short. they are all muffins.
