ummm excuse me 1st guy, that's not the only thing that can go wrong with an LCD display product.... There's quite a bit of other circuitry happening besides the panel drive output.

Parts for these buggers ain't cheap, if you don't get the extended warranty, don't cry when it takes a dump in 3 yrs for any reason. I recommend to go with the warranty. I make way less money doing warranty repairs, as compared to out of warranty repairs. It's all out of your pocket, pay a little now(for sure), or pay a lot later(maybe).

i sell tv's, i sell warranty's. I make money selling both..
Here is how I look at it, it will come with a 1yr warranty from the manufactuer. Its a gamble you have to decide, wether or not your tv will break/stop working after one year. You are the one that is going to have to pay to get it fixed if it does and you dont get the warranty. How long is the warranty for ? 3ys or 5 yrs ?
if 3 yrs, its only 9.72 dollars a month, if 5 yrs, it is only 5.83 a month. I know i spend more than that per month on something dumb or useless....
I would get the warranty.....
make sure it is in home service, and also make sure it will be replaced if it has the SAME problem 3 times in one year.(lemon clause)
and by the way, my store sells most tv's 200 cheaper than BB.

The only problem with LCD Tv and monitor is that after 1-2 years you might see dead pixels (Black dots on you monitor). Most companies replaces the monitor but some companies dont change the monitor unless you have live 8-9 dead pixels.

Why wouldnt you get it?? Is there any logical reason to not get it? that's greater recent technologies...think of back like 4 years in the past how lots do you think of that television might of fee... now your getting it alot greater fee-effective becuase there mass producing them so there not spending alot of time making them... additionally there crammed with mom boards, circuit boards and issues like that. something is particular to circulate incorrect at any time.. and its not a guarantee.... guarantee- is what the manufacter might furnish on a product that for the time of user-friendly terms covers disease that they led to in the time of the making of the television meaning if some thing became put in incorrect then they'll cover it... superb Buys provider plan- is going above and previous the manufacter by ability of masking power surges, over heats, time-honored placed on n tear, aspects and puzzling artwork for 4 12 months and its in residing house... the way i seem at is its better TO HAVE IT and not choose IT THAN to choose IT and not HAVE IT

I say it's better to be safe than sorry. It is a rather hefty chunk of change to be dishing out though. If you have that kind of money to spend, I'd go for it to be on the safe side.
