So far I only know to a. keep the tip of my tounge at the roof of my mouth to keep a constant flow of saliva, b. keep your mouth closed, and c. when possible, keep a straight back so your lungs aren't cramped. But are there anymore tequniques? And also, I heard that diaphragm control can help, but what is it and how do you do it?

Just like running, the more you run a mile the easier that mile gets. Continue to do the Kata or form and put forth all of your energy ( strikes and movements) like you are preforming in a tournament. Breathing control is also very important and that takes practice. Good luck

Try just going through it. You should feel and be left breathless at the end of your from. Use power and speed. Yes keep your mouth closed and stay as calm as possible.

only be tight during the "explosion" part of each technique, keep your self relaxed as possible. practice deep stances daily and increase lung capasity by running swimming and challange your self to see how long you can hold your breath, last but not least practice practice practice.

Learn to breath from the gut. You are breathing to properly when you feel your stomach expand before your chest. For an example look at a baby when they are sleeping...their stomach should always expand first.
