Why is it always now. There is no future or past but always now/

If you have seen the play/movie Rent it explains it all. There is no future and there is no past b/c Life is time and time is precious. Time has no beginning and has so no end. There is only the moment your living in right now. People don't live forever so why should you waste your time living in the past or future when you can't live that moment anyway? Use your time wisely and live for the moment b/c in a moment it can all be taken away from you.

Because the past cannot be changed and the future cannot be known, but right now is always the time when something can be done.

We are creatures of time. Now is the present. Tomorrow is a wish and yesterday is a memory. Though we live in the moment, we plan for tomorrow and learn from yesterday.
We are unique in our understating of time. We see ourselves at this moment, our past, and our dreamed of tomorrow one just as easily as the other. We can relive our life in the blink of an eye or look forward in our lives to years in the future.
When we understand yesterday, we can work now on creating a better world tomorrow, all within the same time.

Well now is now the past. The longer you read this the longer it will be in the past and then it won't be now. There will be a now in the future, but then that will become the now and eventually it will be the past. HAPPY NOW?

Because we need a word to describe the absolute present, just like we need a word for, the futue or past.

Smoke another joint NOW and you will be transported to the future and when you come around it will be the NOW..hope it helps...works for me when I have to kill time...LOL
