I don't think there is anything you can do to make the situation better. Sounds like she is more of a friend than a girlfriend. Don't tell me looks aren't important either. I'm not the prettiest girl around but to my husband, I'm am beautiful and he wants me. If you aren't turned on by her, figure out what you want from the relationship, explain that to her or move on.

If you really like her, then you should be attracted to her automatically. But if you purposely chose a girl you're not physically attracted to, then maybe you should have put a little more thought into it. you knew it would be a problem at some point, and you got yourself into a mess. If you like this girl, and looks don't matter to you, then you should want to be with her regardless. It seems like you should move on before you really end up cheating and hurting her.

I adore the fact that you were decent enough to date someone based on personality and not looks, but...you have to be attracted to the person also. Assuming that you are old enough to be having sex to begin with, as much as i would hate that someone would do it to me, I say you need to break up with her before she gets really hurt. You might not want to tell her the real reason though, that would suck. You cant go out with some one that you dont want to get it on with, it will never work.
Good luck! :- )

Personality is whats imporrtant but you also should have some kind of attraction to her, physical attraction. Don't sleep with her if you really don't want to. Alot of men wouldn't care what they looked like, so mybe turn off the lights and pretend your with someone fit lol ;-)

wow, this is a tough question...even though looks shouldn't be the most important thing in your life or anyone's life, you have to take into consideration that you can't have a sexual relationship with someone unless you are attracted to them in some way....and if her personality is what attracted you and you want to have sex with her I would say give it some time......maybe you will learn to love her and she will turn you on just because she is a good person with a wonderful personality.....maybe then things will work out for you.....I wish you all the best.......

yea... as great as her personality might be if you arn't attracted to her then all you really are is good friends. Try and get connected on all levels. Or, if its a weight issue plan more active dates to help her drop the lbs without you getting bashed for not being attracted to her. If its something different... say bad hygiene then try going swimming, or do something to get really dirty and then let her see how clean you are. If she is just really really ugly, then you are going to have to make a decision if you want to be with her or not. Try to get yourself going too before you try it with her, it might just be nerves.

Its cool you're dating her for personality -- but I'm confused. I thought men could **** anyone or anything. I guess I liked what that other person said - close your eyes and picture Jessica Alba (thats what I do when Im with my husband hahahaha - did I say that?)

I hate to be honest but if she is not a turn on than maybe there is no love involved. I understand you choose her for her personality and I beleive that looks are not everything but there has to be something for in to turn into sex.

You obviously do not want to be with her. Don't lead her on any more. Gently leave the relationship and search for another. It will hurt, but you made the bed dude.
