male dogs mark their territory - they will urinate every area they could find other dogs mark. it is annoying sometimes esp if you are walking and he stops everytime to mark.
if you don't want it to happen inside your house, it is best to neuter him as early as you can. if you wait too long, he might still mark even after you neutered him, out of habit.

RE:
Help! Do male DOGS spray ?
I have a male purebread t-cup poodle and I wanted to know if he would spray or not. I'm not sure if male dogs spray or if it's just cats.

A dog should be trained on how to eat, walk with you, not to bark, potty training and sleep on its place etc. You can teach anything to your puppy, dogs get trained easily with some good instructions. If you want some good training tips visit https://tinyurl.im/U0g3o
If properly trained, they should also understand whistle and gesture equivalents for all the relevant commands, e.g. short whistle or finger raised sit, long whistle or flat hand lay down, and so on.
It's important that they also get gestures and whistles as voice may not be sufficient over long distances and under certain circumstances.

Every dog sprays to mark his or her territory. It's to be expected.

Male dogs will lift their leg to prominent items in its environment to mark their territory. You can prevent this in the house by neutering him as early as the vet recommends, and by spraying dog repellent on furniture. Also, remember you are the alpha in his pack. It's your territory, not his. So if he does it, smack him in the backside and scold him thouroughly. This is what dogs understand.

They don't spray, but they will hike their leg up and pee to mark their territory. Solution: Get him neutered by the age of six months.
