Last week, two missing U.S. soldiers were found tortured and beheaded (see first link for details).

Now, Five U.S. Army soldiers are under investigation for allegedly raping an Iraqi woman then killer her and three family members (see second link for details).

It is of interest that both stories have a common link: the troops were all assigned to the 502nd Infantry Regiment both incidents happened near Youssifiyah.

This is still under investigation, but do you suspect that the tortured troops were retaliation for violating a woman and killing her and her family?

Yeah, I would bet that it is retaliation because the two Americans who were killed were in the same unit as those accused of the rape and murder. It still doesn't make anything that they did right. I really hate hearing about these sort of things going on.
