How did it become pink? Is there such thing as pink lemons?
And yes I was thinking it was because of tampons "matt damon". lol
That makes no sense though .. why would people perfer pink lemonade over regular lemonade .. Because of the color yes!

the magical lemons go to the magical lemon Gods and ask for the amazing power to turn pink to make little girls happy that their lemonaid dosnt look like their puppys pee.

Food coloring, I would think. Though sometimes I've had pink lemonade with strawberry or raspberry added, and that makes it pink too. ;)

In some cases raspberries or strawberries provide the color but usually (especially in the case of those powered drink mixes) I think food coloring is the culprit. Ever had a lemmon-berrie slush from Sonic, MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM YUMMY!

from what I understand, a performer of some type put his red tights in the barrell used to mix lemonade at some circus or fair. When they discovered them, the citric acid had bleached out some of the dye in the cloth, et viola!!

Real pink lemonade has grape extract to make it pink.

Food coloring to make people think some fruit juice (IE strawberry) has been added.
