That's pretty funny! You can get the stuff that parents use to baby proof their homes. It's not that unusual - actually many pet owners have to do this.

I had a cat that used to open cupboards and get into the food. We had to get the plastic clips that keep them from getting in. Currently I had to get a hotel style door lock for my closet because my cat would open the door and the dog would eat the shoes!!! I'm just glad mine are too lazy to figure out the refrigerator.

I shouldn't laugh but you have one smart pooch!!! Go to the baby department and see what they have. I'm almost sure there is something that can be put on a fridge. In the meantime prop a heavy chair in front of the fridge. If you can actually catch her in the process give her a LOUD NO and stomp your foot at the same time. I also use a "no-no" can. Get a coke can, drop 5-10 pennies in it, duct tape the hole. It makes a god-awful racket when you shake it. If you can catch her in the act at all have your no-no can near by and go at her rattling it and giving her very firm NO-NO's!!!

Dang.. Smart dog...
You can try to place a lock shut the fridge when yousee it opened. the usuar thing that helps is a loud NO right after the dog does somethin wrong.. if you say it later dog might not understang why on earth are you yelling at him.. try to catch him doing that again and let out a loud NO... after the dog obeys give him a treat.. hope that helped.. good luck...

Like kids, use the baby proofer snaps for the cabinets and maybe bungee strap the refridgerator door to the back or something. It may work. Try it.

The same way you would baby proof it..use special locks. If that doesnt work, consider the more expensive route -- obedience classes, or you may want to put her in a cage while no one is home.

easy. get the child proof locks for the doors or if u cant find them, just use a sturdy string/rope to tie the handles. for the fridge, tie the rope to something nearby that wont move or chain around the whole fridge w/ a lock.

jajajajaja I'M SORRY but that is hilarious, you should buy those things that people with kids buy (not sure what they're call) , they're tricky and I'm sure only humans can know how to work them, so run to your closes hardware store and buy them asap

ahh and also before you stop your dog from doing that make sure you tape her and send your video to "America's most funniest videos" (or something like that) I would definitely love to see that...

Sounds like you need to baby-proof your house. Check out sites that include info like that and where to get the gadgets that go with it.
