I think you mean dandruff. And Neutrogena T-Gel is a good over-the-counter shampoo. If shampoos (such as Head and Shoulders or Seltsen Blue) aren't working for you, you made need to talk to a doctor to get a prescription strength topical ointment or shampoo.

Also, you shouldn't be washing your hair EVERY day, if you can help it, as it dries out your scalp even more. Don't brush/comb if you're out and you discover flakes.... it makes them worse!

Use a shampoo containing pine tar. My dermatologist suggests Selsun Blue. If you can't stand the smell, you may re-shampoo with something else after using it. Btw, leave it on your head for five full minutes.

Its this SIMPLE!! Just go to Wal Mart or Target, or any of those type of stores and get some Dandruff Shampoo. Use it as you shampoo, then condition. I used to have some really bad dandruff and now i dont because i do this. So i advise you to buy some dandruff shampoo!

get head and shoulders Intensive treatment or selson blue: medicated; or go to a dermatogist, I should know I have the same problem. If you go see a doctor the shampoo that they might give you is very expensive.

Hello:
Many shampoos contribute to dry scalp...avoid overdrying your scalp with the hairdryer and try a coal tar shampoo. You may actually have psoriasis or excema...a dermatologist could properly diagnose your condition and suggest a medicine or topical creme to help. Good luck!

If it's that bad, I would suggest going to a dermatologist. You could try other otc medications first; ask the pharmacist at a drug store about it. But a dermatologist will be able to suggest things that most of us wouldn't think of, as well as prescribing something if it's necessary.
