New Flash Mr. Conservative: Superman was adopted by American Parents which gives him near instant citizenship. So your entire question is not just only based on fiction, but also fallacy. I'll humor you since you openly admit to being slow and lack luster. If Superman was illegal, he should be granted political asylum based on the fact that his planet was destroyed and the unusual job skill he possess as a super hero. Sure, there are American born Super Heroes available but the job market can hold a few more without depressing wages. Hopefully, he would be gracious enough to take a low paying job as a border control officer and stop all who dare try to sneak in.

Yeah right. Does Superman also not speak English? Pay taxes? Obey the law (in addition to the immigration law)?
Is Superman taking American jobs by working under the table for half the minimum wage?

Let's take time into consideration .
If the far right wing had there way during the past 50 years, considering the recent House Bill, Superman would be a Felon and would have to be deported.
Where would Superman have gone....
Communist Russia.
Think about it.

You are REALLY reaching out there.... You forget your meds today or something? Besides, superman contributes far more this Nation than all the illegal aliens combined.
Oh yeah, and I would consider your entire planet being destroyed a means for asylum.

who wants to deport them? just want them stopped from coming in then documenting the ones that are here. therefore, he'd just be documented! and we'd treat him like he was a cuban baby, since he came here as a baby, if he touches the soil, he is a citizen. i love legal immigration, of course legal being the keyword in that phrase
ps - he came here as a baby, i didnt realize babies came to planets or countries looking for work! get the facts and the fictional story straight!

What if he doesn't want to go? Who's going to make him? Not even the U.S. Air Force with all their nuclear weapons can make Superman leave if he does not want to. It would be easier just to make Superman an honorary citizen.

Of course not. Before the United States ever admits they cannot locate his country or place of origin they throw him on a boat in the Florida keys and pray to God that he uses his powers to reach grounds. They call him Cuban and grant him the ability to stay as a refugee.

Superman would have been legalized in 1986.
I take it you make more money off cheap labor than you care about lack of funding for education and impaired upward mobility for our own people.

Superman is a FICTIONAL character!!! He was LAW ABIDING,so he would NEVER have BROKEN our laws by sneaking into the country!!! His home was destroyed,so we could have given him asylum.
I am for SEALING our borders, and DEPORTING all illegals!! CRIMINALS do NOT deserve to be REWARDED!!!!!!!!!!!!
