Well, which is "healthier" is a question dealing with the health of the banana and the apple. Supposing each is equally healthy, then there can be no difference in their states of health. However, if you're asking which is more "healthful," meaning it is better for your body, then the answer is dependent on what nutrition your body lacks and should have before that question can be answered. You see, bananas and apples, though fruit, have different minerals and enzymes that the human body utilizes. If the human body is short on potassium, I'd choose the apple as the more "healthful" choice. What you should be doing to get an answer to this question is studying to find out more about what foods contain and how they help the human body be "healthy."

They are both healthy for you. The only difference I can tell is that they have different calorie amounts. I eat apples all the time. it's 100 calories for one medium sized apple. I personally don't like bananas, so I don't know about them. If you are trying to lose weight, less calories is better.

An Apple, specially green apples. Bananas are a good source of potassium but have a lot of sugar. Apple are an excellent source of proteins (which are natural fat burners), and don't contain as much sugar.

Well... apples are good for weight loss because they can curb your appetite quicker, and since they cause you to chew more before you can swallow them they are healthier as well. They also are good b/c they have more water packed into them than bananas.
Bananas are good for athletes after you finish a race or sporting event, to make you gain back the potassium you lost.
Both are packed with vitamins, so you really can't go wrong with either.
