I want to take a last minute trip so nobody is able to go with me. I have about a week and I have been looking into resorts and tours but there do not seem to be any for a single individual wishing to just "get away" for a few days... Any suggestions?

Sandals is specifically geared toward couples...that is exactly what I am NOT looking for.

Go to LAS Vegas. Vegas is a 24/7 town that has all of the amenities that anyone could want from first class hotels to broadway shows, gambling, top of the line restaurants and hotel pool areas that cannot be matched anywhere.

You don't need a "double occupancy" reservation either. Just book some airfare, use Southwest airlines, America West Airlines or American Airlines. They are the major carriers to Vegas. Go to the hotel web sites rather than expedia or travelocity. You can get great rates for the summer; rates are lower on Sunday through Thursday nights.

There are some considerations:

1- Your Travel Budget
2- Other than Resorts and Tours, have you considered a Vacation Package(activities at the destination in question, i.e. Club Med, Sandals, etc)
3- When do you plan to go?

Once those questions have been answered, it makes the decision-making process much easier. Right away, since you're an active single person, Club Med and Sandals come to mind. And believe it or not, cruises offer the opportunity for you to unwind and recharge your batteries, as well.

Hi there! I suggest going to www.trafalgar.com. I am single and I am booked with them on a trip to Ireland/Scotland that will last 11 days. I feel good about this because i'll at least be with a group of people that i'll get to know over the days and they will keep an eye out for me. Good luck in finding something! PS-I went on a cruise by myself last summer and loved every minute of it!!
