My nephew is 2 years old & has moderate exzema. Now that the weather's hotter, he's pretty miserable & I'd like 2 help the little guy out. He's been to several dr.s nothing has worked so far. Does any1 know of a natural treatment besides the tanning bed?

Eczema is normaly due to some sort of allergies. Food allergies are the most likely cause. There are a number of natural treatments for this condition one of them is using the essential oil of "Lavender" make sure the oil is all natural and Therapeutic grade. A good oil will cost around $15 - $20 for 15ml anything cheeper will have been cut with other chemicals. also check chemicals in soaps and shampoos which can cause irratation to the skin and result in said condition.

My son also had Eczema, he luckily grew out of it. The dermatologist gave us a cream, sorry don't remember the name of it. But a few other things I remember doing which helped are changing the laundry soap and bathroom soap to soaps without perfumes. Use soaps made just for sensitive skin. Also keep away from acid foods like tomatoes. Whenever my son would eat anything with an acid base in it he would breakout all around his mouth. Your nephew may also have an allergy to pollens in the air. You may want to take him to have his allergy's tested. Eczema is a very uncomfortable disease but can be treated. It may take a lifestyle change but it is worth it.

I cured myself of eczema over twenty years ago with a treatment I have listed on www.TheCureForEczema.com. But, 2 years old is a bit too young for this treatment. Please read it and see what you think.

What you can do is keep this child cool. Not cold but cool and dry. When the child gets a little older, try my treatment. It's the cure, it really is.

Good Luck!

By the way, my name and picture are a gag. I'm a normal person. Mostly.

treatment- daily skin care and total avoidance of known irritants are important, topical corticosteroid creams and ointments may be prescribed, skin moisturizer may be beneficial, maintaining high humidity with a room humidifier may help

alternative therapy- eliminate all milk and milk products from diet, adults can take 500mg of black current oil twice a day; children should take only one-half that dose, this may take 6 to 8 weeks to produce the desired results, aloe vera gel and calendula lotion or cream may be applied to irritated skin

I know of a lotion that works really well and is all natural. Feel free to email me and I'll send you a free sample. In clinical trials, it beat Eucerine (#1 non- prescription recommendation by Dermatologists) hands down!
