When I download in Limewire I go to search, then Audio than Search what I'm looking for, but why are all the songs are with a Windows Media Player symbol? What do I do to make it a MP3 symbol? I tried several songs but same symbol.

It should be an easy conversion if anything, all my files get the Winamp symbol check the file extension, if it says .mp3 then you're ok and the symbol doesn't matter

Set your default player for the media files to the mp3 media player. The icons will change to the default player's icon then.

Since the songs already have a .mp3 file extension, they would play in just about any player.

I dont know if you have winamp (if not download from download.com). Open winamp click on 'add' button in the bottom task bar of winamp > 'Add folder' Browse the directory or folder where all your song (only) are saved > OK.

Now all the songs will open in winamp, the icon will change from window media to winamp on all songs. In future Don't open those file again in window media or else you may have to repeat the task.
