He had no children, but I believe he had several siblings. Anyone know anything about what became of them?

He was one of 11 children and was the son of William McIntosh (sic) and Margaret Rennie, according to FamilySearch.org.

I also checked GenesReunited to see if anyone had him mentioned in their family tree. A search draws a blank, though there is a Charles Rennie listed as born in 1928 - perhaps named after a famous uncle?

I am not searching for Charles, but this is what I found on rootsweb. There was no Rennie as a middle name, a few didn't have a middle name at all.

You should refer to Glasgow School of Art who have an extensive history on him. You may also want to consult other Glasgow Art institutions such as Kelvin Grove museum or the Mitchell Library in Glasgow may have records on him.
