Welcome to the website for the City of Yucaipa. This site is intended to provide access to information that will be beneficial to residents and convenient for the transaction of City-related business. In this site you will find information regarding hours of operation, City municipal and development codes, the annual budget and capital improvement program, and a variety of program offerings. You will find instructions on utilizing electronic, on-line forms for registrations, permits, licenses and other form processes, as applicable.
The City incorporated in 1989. Since that time, the community has experienced a significant level of growth to the current population of approximately 47,000 residents. The City maintains more than a dozen recreational facilities including 10 parks, one senior center, a community center/gymnasium, equestrian arena and skateboard park. In addition to the City facilities, the community contains Yucaipa Valley Regional Park and the newly acquired Wildwood Canyon State Park. Schools are provided by the Yucaipa-Calimesa Joint Unified School District, Crafton Hills College, one of the colleges associated with the San Bernardino Community College District and local private institutions. The community boasts of a variety of service clubs, youth sports programs and a myriad of faith-based organizations.
