Note to non-Christians:
"Actual Christians" ARE 'like' Jesus. They love others and will do what they can to serve them. The sad thing is, however, that there are very few 'actual Christians'. We pray for each other so that we can stand together and be 'like' Jesus. We can never be perfect as Jesus was and is, but we can act like Him and do as He has told us to do in order to better serve the world.

Here's another piece of information for the non-Christians: We (Christians) are 'servants' (not slaves) to everyone else. We serve because we care and want to help. We preach because we want you to understand why we do what we do. We witness so that you can have the strength to stand when Satan sends his temptations to bring you down. We're trying to help as Jesus did- why not let us?

I bet that if you helped one person (even just one!) today in a way that Jesus would, you would make a dramatic difference in the life of someone else...and to yourself; you'll feel great knowing you've helped someone to be happy and have at least a little more time to enjoy life in a positive way.

How can you tell if a Christian is a 'real' Christian? Easy: Are they just talking at you or putting you down because you don't believe? Are they preaching at you because they think you have to believe right now? Or are they serving you to allow you to know kindness and to know love? The ones that behave as Jesus would are 'real' Christians- the ones you can trust and the ones that can really help you.

Real Christians love unconditionally: It doesn't matter who you are or where you've been/ what you've done. We care about who you can and will be as a positive person and a 'child' of God. That's the ultimate difference: We care.

i don't care if Jesus came and knocked on their door some people will not believe in Jesus, folks walked with Jesus when He was here doing all he can to make people believe he was the massiah and people didn't believe in him then they crucified him (some were priest in the temple)See, God loves us so much He let his own Son die and we sit here and curse God when someone in our family dies, even though we are all going to die anyway, at anytime, anyways back to the subject God gave us this miraculous gift THE GIFT OF CHOICE!!!!! WHAT DOES THE WORD CHOICE MEAN? well some will choose foolishly to go to hell, some will chose heaven
I don't understand why do people believe christians should be just like christ? We strive to be, but we are sinful people thats why we should ask for forgiveness the whole reason for the cruxifiction for us that do believe. We are not a perfect people if we were there would be no need for Jesus, and this world would be a utopia, and nobody would choose God. people try to find fault in the Word of God I would not want to be in their shoes when it was time to go where you in the flesh here DECIDED HELL will be there eternal home , then they will see Jesus and know it is Him, He will tell them he loved them, but He won't be able to save them then. So, you can't argue with the non-believer or give them tricks, if they don't want christianity it's there choice the way God intended it to be.

There are true Christians out there. Unfortunately several hypocrites walk among us. You know, those people who say they're "Christian" as a fall back plan or because that's what their parents told them to do. They give the true Christians, the ones who actually strive to be like Jesus, a bad name.

I'm a Christian so my first reaction would to be offended by this question but the truth is that many Christians keep non-Christians from accepting Christ because of the way they live their life. So, you're probably more right than any of us will ever realize.

I'm a Christian, and actual Christians are not a lot like Jesus. He didn't sin. We as people do that which we perceive to be in our own best interest, Christians, and non-Christians alike.

Nobody alive knows what Jesus was like, so that's a moot question... and no I would never consider being a Christian - Christianity is false.

Now remember that an 'Actual Christian', as you put it, is to be Christ-Like. It doesn't mean we're perfect. Sounds like you've had some bad dealings w/some people who "said" they were Christians, but didn't set the example - - - I'm sorry that has happened to you. To put it bluntly, put on your big boy underwear and understand the fact that that us Christians are just as human as you!

No, I am not a Christian because I believe religions were started by people as a ways of controlling other people.

If there is a God let me worship him. Jesus said worship the father and love your fellow man and thats all I want to do, if God would only make himself real to me I could worship him.

The bible clearly states that with faith the size of a mustard see you can move mountains. Well the Pope has got to have more than a mustard see so if God will have him do something supernatural I will believe in him.... you don't have to be like Jesus, just show me something that the people in biblical times saw, all the miracles. It would be much easier to believe if I could actually see it.

This is one of the best questions I have read so far. I've met many christians that don't act very "christian-like" but, they sure love to preach their religion and let me know that I'm the one going to Hell.
