It's easy to piss people off because people have a tendency to focus and look towards the negative.

I am having problems interpreting what you are really getting at here. So I will do my best to answer. It is harder to please folks than to piss them off because anger is often a knee jerk reaction. Some folks are extra sensitive and almost anything can set them off. Pleasing people takes time and effort. Respect has to be earned. Especially sincere respect. Many folks have simply given up on trying to please people in today's world. They become bitter know it all's and they cut themselves off from the rest of the world. And the contact they do have with folks usually consists of a lecture or a scolding towards a person that does not deserve it. Old folks can get like that. But it is not just limited to older folks. I am 31 and I meet many spreaders of bad karma in my daily life that are in my age group. They get pissed on so they feel that they must return the favor to a person that has nothing to do with their hardship. And some of these folks are quite successful in their career. You don't have to be a deadbeat to be a spreader of bad karma. That is probably why humans will never progress. We might progress in areas such as technology but we will never progress in terms of human relations. Never. But anyways, my advice to you is to stay positive and don't piss on others that have nothing to do with your hardship. Life is short. Be a virtuous person during your short stay here. You may have the opportunity to affect others in positve ways. Don't pass those opportunities up. I am not sure if any of this had anything to do with your question but it sure felt good typing this today. Have a good day.

GOOD question!!!

Is it maybe because people have an attitude of 'the world owes me' or 'I deserve to be happy' so they somehow expect to be showered with blessings? Then, if something doesn't go their way, because the world revolves around their selfish desires, they're immediately ticked. Yeah, I think that's it.

It's easier to piss someone off because you can say one thing, one small thing and it will ruin their day. However, at times, it may take you all day just to make that one person smile. After all, isn't that what really matters? to make someone smile rather than make them "pissed"? i know not the answer you were looking for

Your question makes a lot of sense. I wish I knew the answer. It does seem like people get pissed off much easily than they get happy.

Because the human nature is selfish and blind. It's hard for us to see beyond our own comprehension. If only everyone knew that the true value comes in serving others (pleasing others) it would be easier to please them and they wouldn't get mad because they would understand this concept. Felling like making a difference?

Because people are more easily offended by what people say or do than they are pleased. It's called judging someone. Which we shouldn't do, we should just accept people for who and what they are.

Anger is the reaction of fear. Probably better to find out why a person is fearful than to try and explain anger.

It has always been easier to destroy than it is to build . Some people will never be satisfied .

some people are happier with pissing people off and being pissed. no matter what you do you can't make them happy, happiness comes from within and if they aren't happy you can't.
