Okay, hold on a minute. I have several problems with your question.
"They should only be paying attention to God." The Bible does indeed state in the 10 Commandments that we are to worship no other god than the God of Israel. The Bible also, time and time again, mentions the existence of angels, saints, devils, and demons. We are not supposed to worship these entities, but it is our responsiblity to acknowledge their existence. Ignoring them would be like an evolutionist ignoring physics or chemistry because it doesn't directly relate to the origin of species.
You ask why it is easy "to believe in angels and demons, but not evolution?" This question may by valid, but the opposite question would be just as valid. Why is it so easy for some people to believe in evolution as a fact, but to deny the existence of angels and demons? The majority of people have just had snippets of information thrown at them in school or on TV, and they don't know the background information. These people don't get out the books themselves and check out the geology behind the earliest examinations of human development. They don't talk to paleontologists or archaeologists and learn about all the mistakes that have been and are still being made with dating techniques. So we say that humans evolved 2 million years ago. People say that all the time like a fact. How do YOU know it? You have faith in it without ever seeing it for yourself. That makes it a belief system. A religion.
People who believe in Creationism have faith in the existence of God and angels and demons without ever having physically seen them (although you can see their effects in the world). How is that any weirder, or more ignorant, or more anything than taking macroevolution for granted?

The Bible talks about angels and demons (demons being fallen angels) Satan is actaully a fallen angel himself. But the reason people of the faith denounce evolution with such conviction is because it is ludacris.
Evolution is a theory, as is Creation. But why would someone believe in God and then turn around and believe in something that kills God? That is the real question here. Do some research, one on Christianity and its belief system, then on theory of evolution and the theory of creation and tell me which one has more validity.
Now if you want to really find the answers you are looking for, I suggest you pray for guidance and wisdom before starting such research and then remember to keep an open mind and not just read one or two articles.

Because evolution leads back to the theory of the Big Bang and I don't believe that anything creates on it's own without someone to create it. There's gotta be something supernatural out there in charge. Gases and molecules can't just happen when it was once nothing but blackness before the beginning of time. It is impossible for something to come from nothing.
You can't expect a painting to just "BE" without an artist to create it.
It only makes sense that God always was because He is a living being with the intelligence to create. So someONE started this chain.
BTW : The Ten Commandments are listed in Exodus 20:3-17

b/c it is much easier to go along with what you hear on a daily basis and what you have heard all of your life than to actually think for yourself. Any high school science textbook explains evolution clearly, but most of america doesn't read high school text books! People are sheep, think of it like that. Or maybe ostriches since they hide their head in the sand and hope evolution will go away. :-) That reminds me, when scientists call the theory of evolution, a theory it doesn't mean the same thing as a normal person's theory. In a scientific sense, theory means a hypothesis that has plenty of research to support said theory. There are libraries in support of evolution, but no one wants to believe it. Of course, most don't study their religion that well either. Do you realize that the ten commandments that we all recognize as the ten commandments are not listed in the bible as such? Check it out!

I think it may be because believing in angels and demons is an act of faith for people (the whole believing in something you don't really see thing), but evolution, other than the steady evolution of living things that adapt to their environment, is hard to believe because people think that if we came from primates, for example, why are we not still seeing primates evolve into people before our eyes?

I think it comes from sight, which is something that people can take differently.
For some, they believe they "see" God as an active participant in their lives. For other, they "see" evolution, and the ways that we are still evolving today.
For many of the hardcore believers, who believe the Bible is the ultimate truth, then that would mean evolution goes against it. For the people who believe in evolution, the Bible goes directly against that.
Hope this answers your question.

Evolution is depressing because it is an explanation for life without anything exciting like demons and God. It makes people feel less important than if the Alpha and Omega loves them more than chocolate, and it means they are over when they die. The truth is not as neat as the fiction, and that's why.

There's more evidence for angels and demons than for evolution.
http://www.thetrumpet.com/index.php?page=article&id=589
The truth is that evolution has repeatedly been proven false by every single scientific inquiry into the issue across all fields. On the other hand, there have been accounts of angels and demons from every culture throughout all of human history.
Sad but true.
What is going on here is you are assuming that since you prescribe to evolution, it must be far superior to all those ignorant unwashed masses who think differently.
But, the truth of the matter is you are the one who is ignorant and never bothered to look into the actual legitimacy of evolution. You assume there is tons of scientific evidence to support evolution and none to support angels and demons. The reality of the situation is reversed. Tons of historical evidence to support angels and demons but NONE for evolution.
Pretty funny if you ask me.

Because they fear that accepting evolution will make the concept of Angels, Demons and God make obsolete! And ther is a lot of money involved in the 'God' Business.

Personally, I do believe in evolution, angels and demons. I don't believe humans come from chimps of course, that's just a theory, never proven, but I do realize we didn't start out like we are now, hence the reason Esau was so flamin hairy, every generation gets taller and suposedly smarter, though that one is up for debate, and of course the fact that as humans migrated to colder regions, our hair & eyes lightened as we didn't need as much pigmentation to protect us from the sun.
And face it, angels and demons are just plain interesting. Not the cute little cherubs you see in painting, but real ones are very interesting, and not in the least cute.
