I gotta go with "MATCH" on this one. Take the dog to the VET or SHOT IT. Put the damn thing out of it's misery ASAP. If the dog is growling at you & possibly getting violent, then call the pound to pick it up & report it as a stray that you found. This is a last resort if you have no money to pay for the animal to go to the vet. I had to have my dog put to sleep (euthanized) when she was hit by a car. It cost &75.00 to have the vet give her a shot & just went to sleep. It would have cost over $3000.00 to save her leg & she wasn't even bleeding! Dogs need 4 legs to run & be a dog...don't save what should be let go. You have no vet experience, so don't even try to do this on your own, you could get a nasty bite from an infected animal. Just call someone & DO IT fast!

Right, first calm down. Then get someone to hold the dog's mouth shut so it doesn't bite (they sometimes do when injusred) get some form of non fluffy material (like tights) and bound it up. Raise the leg slightly and ring a vet for advice. Good luck!

How can you help? By calling an adult and a veterinarian. Check his collar to contact the owner. That dog is hurt and needs to be taken care of IMMEDIATELY. You wouldn't leave a kid bleeding in the road after being hit, would you?

Take him to the vet he may have a broken leg. You will never know the extent of his injuries without x-rays done. He very well could have internal injuries as well. Me personal I would take him to the vet today.

This is an easy one, TAKE HIM TO A VET!!!
Immediatly.
He may be bleeding internally, or have other life threatening injuries that you can't see.
Hurt animals bite even beloved owners, so be careful moving him, but go NOW.
