An apéritif is an alcoholic drink usually enjoyed as an appetizer before a large meal. It is often served with something small to eat, like olives or crackers.

When french people tell you something is "de marques" that means is something very famous, expensive and with good quality. For exemple when we say: "Des vêtements de marque" we mean " designer clothes" and we think about Prada, Channel, Yves Saint-Laurent ... and all the big boss in the fashion industry.

If you go somewhere and they said "apéritifs de marque" will be served don't expect to find wines and crackers that you can find for $2.50 at Wallmart. You will find very expensive and famous alcoholic beverages and if you are lucky enough you may find some very good caviar.

It either means well-known brand apetizers (like snacks) or drinks (like the drink you have before eating).
