The Lord Jesus Christ died for the sins of the world. He was buried and took those sins away and He rose again for our justification. Romans 4: 25 Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification. Leviticus 7: 7 As the sin offering is, so is the trespass offering: there is one law for them: the priest that maketh atonement therewith shall have it. Today we have atonement because of what He did for us. Romans 5: 11 And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.
