I am at older than 18, but I'm still at home with my 'rents. I know that her insurance coversthase over 18 if you are a full time student and leaving at home untill the age 25.
But, my thing is that I have been away for a year (on an internship), but I'm back home now, and I will be going full time to college in the "off season" spring and summer, and part-time when most are full time, Fall and Winter.
Thanks for your time and all answers would be greatly appretiated.

As long as you are enrolled and full-time for part of the year, you should be fine, although the surest way is to call and confirm with your insurance company. State laws are becoming more relaxed when it comes to who is considered a dependent, in terms of health insurance. In Colorado, for example, there is a proposal that would make it possible for you to continue to be on your grandparent’s policy. If you can’t remain on your mother’s policy, your school probably has a student health plan you can enroll in.

If it turns out that you need health insurance for yourself, try MostChoice.com. You fill out a form, look at online quotes, and within 48 hours locally licensed health insurance agents will contact you to talk about what you need and what you can spend. Ask them about Tonik health insurance from Blue Cross Blue Shield or Sound from UniCare. Both target people your age and included preventive vision and dental care in their plans.

yeah as long as you have proof of being a full time student(12 units or equivalent)and under 23, at least in CA. The insurance company might want you class schedule, but you should be fine for the summer and it would carry on into the fall and winter, just don't tell them if you go to part time.
