It's great on the grill. Brush some melted butter over both the top and bottom side of the fish. Put a mild pepper seasoning with some minced garlic. Remember to keep the seasoning light, as you don't want to take away from the flavor of the fish. Put it on a piece of tin foil, and put on the grill, medium flame. If you want you can cover the fish with foil, this just helps to keep moisture in.
Enjoy!

I'm a vegetarian but used to eat Tilapia. It appeals to alot of people because it is a light fish and does not taste fishy at all. I used to love it baked in a lemon dill sauce with breadcrumbs sprinkled on top.

It's a good fish. It's very mild and takes on the flavor of any sauce. Light in fat. Cooks quickly too. Good for fish tacos or anything.

I have it at least twice a week from how good it is! Usually for lunch.....Breaded & deep fried or you can go the healthier way & bake it with some french fries, its so yummy!!!! With a drizzle of lemon & ketchup & some salt & pepper, it's perfect...This fish is flaky & moist, really yummy anyway you wanna make it but I suggest not grilling because it'll fall apart! Enjoy :)

Yes, its very good fish and the price is usually reasonable too. Its a hard white fish, like cod but harder, and smaller fish also. Its good pan fried.

It is a farm fish that is well received all over the US. It endures cooking rather well.

It is a good alternate if you can't afford red snapper. I like mine whole and fried or on the grill, but you can ask for it in fillets at any butcher shop.
