It goes like this Sweety; 1st base a kiss goodnight -- you can 'get to first base on a walk!' 2nd base is kissing & fonldling the breasts! You gotta hit a double, steal the base or advance on another's hit! 3rd base is playing, by finger or orally with a vagina! home plate means you actually put your thingy into her thang! When you hit a home run it means you get right to it! These are all euphemisms from baseball!
