This is kind of personal so please treat my question with respect. What I'm asking is when a woman calls me baby in the right context. I mean in a non-patronising, girlfriend/relationship, affectionate sort of a way. Why do I like it and is it ok to like it when a woman calls me baby? I can even get turned on by it too, sometimes. It just seems unusual for an adult man to like being called this.

It's OK to like it. You are obviously open to being loved/liked and open to affection and being affectionate - that's why this term of endearment appeals to you.
Don't question it, just revel in your ability to 'feel' and enjoy the company of others. Not everyone can you know!
You sound like the 'perfect' adult male.

Calling a lover baby obviously has a very different meaning to an actual baby! It's like saying hot or bad, when you like something, it has changed meaning through the slang use, you get me? Think of all the sexy songs, almost all of them will have a "baby" in there somewhere, regardless if it's a male or female singer, we all love it as a term of affection!

I don't think there's anything wrong with it. Some men like being called by different affectionate names. I call my man pooh bear when we're being affectionate, and he says its sweet. So don't fret- as long as noone is insulted by the names, they're for your own personal enjoyment. Whatever floats your boat!
