I had my plantars wart lasered off. It was a very painful process and took about three weeks to heal---nothing like the doctor said it would be! JERK He gave me a shot directly in the wart to numb it--- it hurt really bad! Then, he dug the wart out (very deep) and lasered it with a CO2 laser. He then put AmeriGel on it and sent me home with a Band-Aid and pain relievers. I had an open wound on the bottom of my foot and had to clean it out every day. It was truly the worst experience of my adult life, thus far. Anyway, it didn't work! It's back and I'm looking for an alternative method. I wouldn't recommend laser surgery. That's just my take--maybe someone else has had better luck.
Good luck!

Why don't you just get the kit from like walmart or something. My brother had a plantars wart and use WARTNER for plantars warts and it doesn't hurt it just feels kinda funny. Other wise have the doctor freeze it off. That won't take long to recover.

This may sound weird but my son had a planters wart on the bottom of his foot, he is almost 8. I walked into my room a few moths back and he was using my pedicure kit. He has trimmed all the skin from around the wart, then used the battery operated "dremel" (sp) tool for filling fake nails inside the wart... It's been gone ever since!

okay the treatment for warts are they may be removed with CO2 applied laser therapy, salicyte acid plasters, surgical excision, cryosurgery or keratolytic agents. Immunotherapy may be tried for resistant warts. Treatment can be tedious and often is painful,,,the alternative therapy is twice daily, you should apply a mixture of garlic oil, vitamin E oil, castor oil and vitamin A with a drop of zinc oxide cream. You should cover well after each application and repeat this treatment for 10 days,,,i hope this helps

Years ago I had them on the bottom of both feet! I had about 5 on each foot. I went to the foot doctor and they burnt them off with a laser. The most painful part was the shots in my feet to numb them.

yeah...they lay you face down and inject novacaine into your foot (oow-wee!), then use the laser to remove the wart...you'll have a hole in your foot, takes about 2 weeks to heal.

Have you tried duct tape first? Seriously--research has shown a high level of effeciveness with just covering it with duct tape for a while.
