That is so funny. That's almost like the story of when Satan was tempting Christ during the 40 days and 40 nights of fasting. "Ahh, Jesus--if you will just fall down and worship me, I will give you everything in the world." Jesus pretty much told him to go suck an egg.
Please ad a "comment" on your question with the scripture citation of book, verse, etc. Taking scripture out of context is extremely dangerous. "You should not add or take away". Anyone who does will have critical consequences.
So, let me just try and dispell any confusions. Jesus told the rich man that it was easier for a camel to get through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to get into heaven. Why? Because the rich are usually not very compassionate toward the demise of the poor.
The story of the widow's coin . The widow had nothing. But she gave everything she had as a sacrifice to the Lord. Jesus saw that and used the widow's example to show the disciples how we all should give to the LORD. As a sacrifice, but give with joy and not begrudgingly.
NOW----Your example sounds more like the Bible story Jesus gave when people had been witnessed to, the Good News of Salvation had been taught, preached, and the people still refused to accept Christ. Jesus told the disciples not to throw pearls before swine---to shake the dust off their feet and leave them.
Obviously, the power of God is so strong that you would rather try and demean a Christian because of their faith, instead of trying to learn more about why their faith can help them "move mountains" in their lives.
"While we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." I think we can handle your verbal jabs. For if Christ is for us----who can be against us?

I truly try to be sincere to what the Bible says. I don't believe in forwarding random emails and giving you money because you say it is in Jesus's name. All people have sinned and fallen short of God's glory, but I try to follow his instructions, even though I deviate from them at times.

That's Luke 6:30 being quoted. In the next verse we are told to do to others that which we would have them do to us.
I would have you help me if I am need but would not take in a selfish or greedy manner. So I am prepared to do the same for you. Show me the area where you are deprived and suffering and I will administer some Christian love.

What a complete DUMB ***! You people and your anti-social behavioral patterns are getting more and more pathetic everyday.
Not only do you have no concept of what you are asking about but you actually get offended when some body doesn't reply by by telling you how wonderfully funny you are. You morons need to find something to do with your time. Like GET A LIFE!

It doesn't have to mean money all of the time. Most of the time its using your gifts wisely. Such as: if you're a construction worker then you should dedicate some time in rebuilding in the south for the Katrina victims. Money is an issue too but mostly your gifts...
That is all.

They are sincere followers of a Jewish man named Saul, aka St. Paul who introduced the concept of Zeus son of Apollo myth into Christianity.

And yet in context Jesus was speaking of the poor. Sorry. And if you are talking about the part that deals with your enemies, you're going to have to sue me. Since that is what He was talking about. Atheists are so ignorant.

and what about greed?you shouldn't be like that, greed is a sin and I'm sure you don't need all the money. want yes, need no. I think you trying to use someone else's faith against them is'nt very nice and now something terriable will happen to you before you go to the store.

It's referring to being open and honest with those around you and to give to those who are truly in need, in the manner of being a wise steward. The thing is, we are allowed to judge whether you are honest. In my opinion, you are out for money. So, I am now giving you my two-cents' worth. Have a happy day.

Of course, I'll give all what I have to share, the true love of Jesus and His gift of salvation. Look for Him, trust in Him, give him your heart and life and you'll have all what you need.
