Spirituality is what drives us to feel, love, believe in a higher source, omega, lord , god or energy... Whichever you prefer. Religious sects, and different groups were made by man to suit their needs. The need to have faith.
personally I believe only what I believe and what feels true. I hope even catholics or christians, or muslims, take the time to feel out their religions and see if it really makes sense to them? Religion is a thing.
Sprituality is a feeling, a way of being!

how are you going to make certain that that is not any longer? and that i trust that if someone needs to trust be conscious for be conscious what their holy books say then there is somewhat no longer something incorrect with that and it does no longer impact you by any potential structure or kind. that's their decision because it really is likewise your decision to trust and do the things you want to do. i'm no longer a holy curler right here, yet i'm a deep man or woman who has a tendency to look at issues a lot otherwise than maximum and that i do not see how all people can no longer position self assurance in God. God isn't someone who waves his magic wand round. God is all issues, everywhere and in case you even somewhat sit down and picture deep about area and how each and every thing is operating like clock artwork, the position does that come from? God consumes us and that is noticeably overwhelming once you imagine about it.

I believe in the Bible as absolute truth, and when someone tells me something, I try to verify that with Scripture. If, for example, I were Catholic, even then I would not pray to the virgin Mary, because that is not supported by the Bible, even though my religion and church leaders would support it.

Well, I'm not a Catholic, I'm a sort of Protestant (Evengelical Free). But the point is, no. Blind faith is only sensible in situations where there are no resources to explore with. As for me, I have the Bible, and the world I see around me, that does a good enough job of showing me that God is great and holy and just. Plus if I had agreed with everything my parents and pastor told me, I wouldn't have many of the opinions that I have today.

I am Catholic. I listen to my heart, because that is where I find that "still, small, voice" that tells me if I am doing right or wrong. I don't automatically swallow everything just because the "church" said it. Sometimes churches use alot of autonomy in their decision making, even the Catholic church (especially in America). The "rules" can very from parish to parish. So I listen to my heart.

No, I take it in to account but ultimately, I interpret for myself. We've got to understand that we are not living in the world of Biblical Times so religions must adapt weather the leaders want to or not.

I go on a vision quest with my hobo friend Boxcar Jack. We huff lacquer thinner out of a brown paper bag. The spirits tell me its time to cleanse the city of the evil. The spirits tell Boxcar Jack to bang Toothless Rosie the bag lady. The thought of that makes my stomach wretch.........or maybe its the smell?

NO ! I don't take anything said by a human as absolute. I read the passage myself and follow what my heart tells me is the meaning.
