A piece of string is as long as you want it to be.
A tree falling in a forest does make a sound, falling
& hitting the ground makes vibrations, so whether
someone is there hearing the sound does not make
any difference, the vibrations are always in motion.

I know you're just trying to string me along to keep from having to get to the root of the problem--go ahead and make a sap out of me, I can take it.
