a child is a gift from god and you should sacrifice anything you can for that precious miracle. yea its tough at times every parent has gone through it, but its all worth it when you see that tiny smile or hear her say mama for the first time. and it doesnt even hurt that bad, when it was over i was like
" oh thats it! i was worried for nothing, i'm ready for number 2!" lol

IF you ever have a child you will totally understand why women want to go through all of that. Just to hold my son in my arms and watch him sleep... oh it's the best thing in the world. He is three months old. I barely remember the pain, he was a 10 lb and 6 oz. baby... but, I don't really remember it. The first time I held him and told him I loved him, I cried and forgot about everything else. He's perfect. Maybe someday you'll understand that! But then again, with that kind of attitude maybe it's best if you don't have kids. There are enough children out there that have broken homes, no love, and headcases for parents. Kids need all the love they can get!

I stay at home with my 3 kids, and am planning a 4th. It might hurt, but they were all worth it. My like is so much better because of them. They keep me busy and help remind me how much fun it is to be silly. AThey might be a bit expensive, but that is why my husband has a good job. We don't need an expensive house to be happy. And anyone you allow into your life can cause you heartache. That sure wouldn't stop me from having kids, though. As long as I raise them right, the heartache will be minimal. How can I deny them a chance to grow and make their own stupid choices? I love them enough to let them be their own person instead of my puppet.

how old are you? Giving birth is an amazing experience, only a mother would know, i am pregnant for the 3rd time and i am excited to get ripped right to the rectum!!!! Babies are amazing, they dont have to be expensive, at all...how is it heart breaking? I have a 2.5 yr, and a 1.5 yr and pregnant with number three, and i love them to bits. They fill me with such joy, only a mother would know!!! What woudl be heart breaking is going through life not having that experience, because of plain ignorance!!!! I feel sorry for you, hainvg that kind of attitude. Go visit a hospital maternity ward, see all the babies, watch all the moms, (and dads) find someone that needs a birthing coach... when you hold a new born for the first time, you will certaily shange your mind. do you know what unconditional love is????? you woudl if you looked into a babies eyes while you held it rocked it, or just made it giggle....thats why we have babies. I am a stay at home mom...LOVE IT!!!!! i would sacrifice eating beans and weiners frot he rest of my life if thats what it took to put clothes on my kids backs!!! NO PROBLEM

I am a stay at home mom... and know a lot that are.. so it's not a thing of the past.. I love children and would go through any pain to have them and to protect him.. if you think kids are to difficult then don't have any... and the only reason it is expensive because the moms these days think they ahve to go out and get fancy clothes and the latest gadgets.. you ahve a lot of growing up to do my dear

I'm a stay-at-home mom and I take that as an insult. Who the hell do you think you are? Since when does your opinion of every single parent make a difference? I CHOSE to have my kid's and be a married woman. You want to attack someone? Attack all the pregnant little slut's that haven't even reached age 13 and don't know who the daddy is. I KNOW who the father of my kid's are, and I'm happily married to him. It doesn't hurt like hell when you have an epidural and chickenshit's like you should be banned from having kids anyway. Kid's aren't difficult if you have patience and MATURITY! Grow the fu*k up.

You think like this now but just wait till you get the need to have a baby, every sacrifice no matter how big, painful or expensive is worth it.
My son is the best thing I've ever done, he is literally my world, my everything. I'd die for him without a second thought.
It's not easy but if we only did what was easy we would have no life, we need to stretch ourselves to grow as people and as a society.
Having children is the most important, amazing, fantastic, enjoyable, difficult job in the world, nothing compares to it, it is simply the best.

Women get pregnant because they don't feel the same way you do. and..........because that is what the female reproductive system is meant to do. yes it hurts like hell, but......if humans couldnt handle it we wouldnt have survived as a species. plus, that is just another reason why humans have no real memory of exactly what pain feels like. i am a stay at home mom and ummm as far as i know, i dont live in the past. i live right now, every moment with my daughter and i personally love it.
what you have never experienced is being able to watch the person you love most learn and grow everyday. it makes all the difficulties worth it.
hate to go there.......but......do you think your mother feels the same way you do?

You either don't have any kids or are an under appreciated mom. I have been on both ends. I stayed at home with my son until he was 4. His father and I believed that those are the most important years and we wouldn't wonder if whoever was taking care of him was neglecting him since I was at home with him. My son was a joy. It wasn't always easy but not as difficult as you seem to think.
Childbirth may be painful..and mine was a horror story, but the pain fades and you are thankful for what you have. It's worth it.

you are only looking at the downside there is an upside too kids can bring joy to u that nobody else can and it actually is not a thing of the past and other than that u could star a babysitting sevice that is a job too
the scientific reason is because we must repopulate the earth so we dont die out and i think not having that kind of love in your life leaves a void that cant be filled
