I answered a question regarding Christians, atheists, and agnostics. I was reported for communicating. Does anyone else out there think that is was probably a Christian that reported me and do you think that is abuse of the " Report Abuse " link?

yes, it happened to me too. Stupid dogmatic, close-minded jerks do that sometimes.

Some of the answers that question got seemed abusive. I don't know what you said, but I doubt it was worse than some they left up. The one where you asked Robin to contact you seemed more along the lines of personal communication. Some of Yahoo's rules are a little strange, Don't let it get you down.

I think it's easy to feel the hostility and anger just from the few words you posted in this question. I have no idea what post of yours was reported, or why, but it's fairly easy to see how it could have happened.

It is a sad thing that we can't exchange ideas and share things here, like mature adults, without people getting nasty and childish.

My suggestion would be to strive to post your opinions using less abrasive verbage, and in a more mature and emotionally healthy manner.

You might even try being nice.

But I have a nagging suspicion, you won't try that....

Probably because there are so many thin-skinned people on here. Everyone seems to be offended by something. You can't please everyone, so just stay true to yourself and your own beliefs. It's going to offend someone regardless.

Like the lady above, I was also reported once for answering a question with a "statement" and not an "answer". Whatever!

Well, they only take you off if there's good reason, so I'm guessing it's not an abuse. Otherwise Yahoo Answers wouldn't have taken it away.

Really? Do they really give communicating as one of the options? That's kinda silly, isn't it?

Cry-baby, you are too thin-skinned. Have a hide like a rhino. And a horn like one!
