Raging hormones.

Definitely hormones and not weakness but you would know this if you've ever been pregnant. If this is a guy asking this question talk to me once you've carried a baby for nine months and then endured painful labour before squeezing something the size of a watermelon through something the size of a "garden hose"(thanks Gemini). Is that Drama Queen enough for you because I need to go throw a tantrum now. LOL

It's called hormones my friend. We have a 7 month old, and I was a little freaked out at first as well. She was crying all the time, complaining about all the weight and pain. Just remember, this is your child as well, and part of the pain of having a kid is going through the pregnancy. Be patient, and try to be understanding, even when it's hard. I promise you, she will get back to normal, not right after birth, but a few months after birth, she will reappear. You are not prepared for the joy that you will experience when you see your kid for the first time. It's a wonderful feeling, and it will all be worth while.

Good luck

Well technically, THEY ARE!!

Their bodies are not only physically changing, but physiologically changing. Hormone levels are going crazy in a very short period of time. The body they have known is unfamiliar. They are responsible for the health and well being of another, parasitic life... feeding off of their body.

Yes, husband's and boyfriend's are faced with responsibility, and a life time of worry, but what they put in their mouth will not adversely affect the growth and possibly life of their unborn child. His body isn't changing seemingly over night.

Be a little less self centered and a little more understanding! Good Luck!!

You are a joker, aren't you?? How much more special is it than to MAKE a person? And, the person they make is the ONLY person like that one! Aside, from that, there are numerous chemicals (hormones) running rampant going crazy at all different levels as development of the baby goes on. It is a dramatic process!!

Tell ya what Joker, the first time you take 9 mos to grow something inside YOUR body and then expell it through something the size of a garden hose how about YOU try not to be a little bit dramatic!

I know what you are saying, now these other people, Ladies< who have given you snotty answers are probably guilty themselves and feeling a bit embarrassed, so when in doubt, blame weakness on hormones.

Because their bodies are changing and feeling things it has never felt before. A lot of women do take it overboard though!
