Difficult to say. If I went back knowing what I know at age 37 it may be different. I was a late bloomer. I would think that if your situation happened to me without todays knowledge, I would be taken off guard but would be ok with the kiss. I am a talker, meaning I would ask in a nice way "What was that for?" Hoping that feelings would come out in the open to know where we are each coming from. Now, I may be even in that taking too much of what I know now and projecting it back on my 14 year old regression scenario. The first time I got kissed was in grade school following our graduation dance. It freaked me out, yes. In the group environment I did not have the situation to ask more about it. The girl then ran off and there was not time that night to follow-up and understand where it came from. I dont think that it is odd especially if this boy has never been kissed before to react in a shocked manner.

No I would'nt freak out, if your in a relationship then that means you kiss so I wouldnt freak out at all. In a relationship you kiss, hug, make out, have sex and yeah but its normal to kiss and hug when your in a relationship or even just dating.

no. im 14 and my gf kissed me on the first date. kissing is a good thing. i love kissing. i dont even really wait that long.
