My high school has done candy, bake, pizza, soda (since there's no more vending machines!) and ice-cream sales.
But the best one we did was have a talent show. It was about and hour and a half long and the programs were easily made in the school. We charged for tickets and then at intermission we sold flowers (for ppl to give to the performers), food and drink, and one girl made simple bracelets which were a big hit. We made a ton of money!
Good Luck with your fundraisers!

Have a huge garage/recycle sale on the school lawn. Get the students to bring in no-longer-used items from home and sell them . what doesn't sell, goes back home with the student. No cost, no overhead, no leftovers Garage sales are big business these days
