Military people aren't weak minded...they are governed and deployed by the weak minded.
We've no business fighting a "War on Terrorism". Terrorists are fighting for an ideal and it's an ideological conflict that we're in. To say we're at war is a misnomer because you can't fight an invisible enemy (an ideal). Two armies suqaring off is a war...guerillas fighting for a belief against an army or government is a conflict.

Anything worth doing isn't easy. There is something wrong with a person who counts casualties to determine the effectiveness of this war. Why don't you just say outright that you are a selfish person who doesn't care about the rest of the world, that if you stick your head far enough in the ground, you will remain safe and free. I don't believe in killing people, but there are some things worth fighting for, too. You have every right to disagree with the reason we went to war, and war in general too. But if you already have that point-of-view, then counting casualties is irrelevant. Just say what you mean. Also, the fact that you have the right to disagree is obviously something you take for granted.

And how many Iragi's are dead? Maybe you need to check on that before you post an ignorant question/statement such as this. Would you rather our military fight those people over here and kill more of our innocent people. I would rather them stay over there and if innocent people had to die, let it be the Iraqi's. Protect your own before others. You obviously have no concept of anything. You're just another liberal who is so gullable that you follow exactly what the media reports and you take it for the truth. What an idiot!!!

A butt beating? Yeah, right. Tell me, what makes you a qualified expert on the war? The news? Some loser's weblog? I would believe the word of someone who has actually been there over someone who is out to find any reason to bash the war and the military any day.

It is not their fault!! they are just following the orders of a bunch of selfish senators who don't give a hoot about their welfare.
Mind you that those in Iraq are the ones recruited and sent there without much training. Watched Fahrenheit 9/11?
The senators will not even send their children there!! And the poor dudes have to obey before they complain....sad soooo sad.

First off, the military has to follow the orders of their Commander-in-Chief... which in the case of American military, unfortunately, it's Bush.
The guys and girls over there don't want to be over there, but they swore an oath. And you have no right to ridicule them for that.
If you want to criticize the war, then go after the guys responsible for getting the US involved in an illegal and unjust war with a country that didn't do anything to us.

How would you like a butt beating in Michigan? You are a coward and a traitor who has lost any credibility. You take such delight in rolling out the numbers of fallen Americans. You are the filthiest of scum.

No you didnt talk bad about all these brave young man and women in uniform. Shame on you. Those people you are talking about are heros and Firts of all, they didnt put themselves over in Irak, your dumb a.. president sent them over there. They are doing a fine job. They are in harms way trying to rebuild a country and help the Iraki people live under a democracy. Maybe you should go over there and give it a try since you so smart. See if you last a day. to those serving over there and their families thank you so much for your sacrifices, forgive the ignorants please.

I have family that is in the military and was raised a "brat". How dare you criticize and judge something that you aren't even involved in. Hitler would have won if we hadn't became involved and there are plenty of suppressed people in this war that are thankful to our President and country because of the help we are giving.
You act like we should be ashamed, when the ones who should be ashamed are people like you!
We are the "land of the free, because of the brave" and people like you should be thankful to you country, not scornful.
