Yes, I beleive that it is some of the child's choice, but, of course, not entirely.

Usually from ages 12 to 14, it depends on the state, and yes, the judge listens.

That question leaves too many variables. The answer would depend on a myriad of things. Assuming the parents are rational adults, this is a decision that involves all four of you. Perhaps making this decision together can be the beginning of a happy, even if split, family.

its not about the judge but its about the parents.. a child doesnt need to be at a certain age to have the right to voice out..it start as soon as they can talk...

I'm not sure if I read the question right. But if it's a legal one, I think you're child has a right to choose with which parent she or he is to live with once they are mature. My guess is 18. Not sure though.

in georigia it is 15 but the judge will ask if the other id if he wants to stay with his sibbling, i switched when i was 14 so i could stay with my sister
