if you get too focused on getting a girl's parent to like you... it'll show and most likely the parents will think you're less than sincere. Always be respectful... treat their daughter right... and continue to be yourself... but don't act like a stupid toad... parents hate that. Just relax and focus on the girl not her folks.

Ask yourself is being yourself a good thing or can you improve on that. Being yourself sometimes is a euphamism for i am bad accept me that way.

the best way when they don't like who you are is to sit and talk with them. tell them some of your goals usually if they feel that you have a good head on their shoulder they'll over look the personality quirks.
and if that fails pretend to be who they want you to be.

Respect their daughter, treat her right and show them that you are a good guy. Respecting their right to protect their daughter will show them much.
