If the immigrant is legal, then they have to pay taxes like all those other people of the country. They pay for all the things that everyone else does so after that they can do whatever they want with their money. This will have no effect on the country as a whole.

The problem arises when you have people who are NOT legal, earning money off the backs of everyone else legal in the country their working in; taking every benefit allowed. Not contributing back financially into that same country they work in and sending any earned cash home to a different country.

That is where the problem lies, especially if you are talking no:s of people in the millions. All of that income is being sent out of the country, no tax is applied, the country of origin does not benefit at all and in fact loses tremendously as they have to pay for all the benefits the illegals are getting.

Let me see if I have this question straight - you are asking if illegal immigrants come here to work, get paid, then send that money back to their family in another country, will our country eventually run out of money?
If our country ran out of money because of the paltry wages illigal immigrants were making doing jobs that most of us educated Americans wouldn't do if we were getting paid a hundred times what they make - then I would say we that our country definately doesn't deserve the term "Superpower". We are involved in billions of dollars of trade and commerce on a daily basis. I believe the illegal aliens do a very good service for our country, most of them come here to work and get paid an honest wage. How do I know - my family immigrated here from Mexico on my mother's side. They don't come here to join unions, boycott, protest - and create systems that take away from the free market and competition that was what originally made this country great. And if they are stealing our jobs, all the better. Need is the mother of invention - I am sure we will find a way to succeed even without those manual labor jobs.

Nah, the money's not devalued-- that's why they're here working and sending home, because the US dollar is worth more. Immigrants, even on the paltry wages they're paid in the States doing manual labor well below minimum wage, is far more than they could earn in their own countries working twice as hard for twice as long. The money sent home provides for the families left behind, and is saved up until the family can cross into the US and reunite.

That, for example, is why you might find 10-15 male Mexican workers living together in a one bedroom apartment in CA. Rent is small potatoes split fifteen ways, and the rest is mailed back home.

Myth---I worked at a bank once too still have friends there. Most do not send their income home--a few do.
Most do have Mexican accounts of their own-just in case of-they feel they need it. These are the stockpilers who save for themselves so they don't pay taxes on it or have to declare it -so they can get benefits or other selfish reasons.
Never have I seen 3/4 of their check going home
In most case a small amount goes-to their family of the few who do.
Much goes out they say billions-but it is to theirselves mostly. And is small in comparison to what they make here.
This helps Mexico in interest.

Look at it this way. If these people didn't work and then send their money back then the U.S. government would probably end up sending it in aide anyway. At least now you're getting a little something for you money.

That money is GONE from OUR economy, when it is sent out of the country!!!That is EXACTLY why Fox wants all the mexican people to come to the U.S.!!!
They money they earn HERE is sent to mexico, and all goes into THEIR economy, instead of back into ours!!!
Mexicans send BILLIONS a year down to mexico!!! This is U.S. tax dollars that should have STAYED in the U.S. to help OUR economy!!

We will have less money here what would help inflation as there are less dollars here chasing the products.

At the same time, people that receives that money will buy products from the US generating more jobs.
