I am 21 and a virgin. The guys i have been involved with only wanted sex from me. How do i know when a guy is decent? Are there any signs to look out for? Even when i thought they cared about me, i was dead wrong. In the end, i ended up hurt because of my stupid mistakes to get involved.

to expand on the situation, i told my ex that i was a virgin and planned to stay that wasy until marriage and he said he thought he could change my mind. we were freinds for 6 months first then dated. he was nice in the begining but after he ditched me on my bday and when i was sick i dumped him. i dont want to get involved with an asshole again.

i told him about me being a virgin on the first day and he said thats fine. i told him not to get involved if sex was what he was after. he denied it, but he was after that. he was an asshole in disguise--never cared about me for 1 second

I must disagree. Obviously you have made no stupid mistakes if you are still a virgin. What's worse is giving those guys exactly what they are looking for, which apparently you haven't. This may sound dumb, but I am proud of you.
And I have no clue how to tell if that's what they are looking for right off the bat. The guys I have known like that also seemed to care, and were very friendly. But alas, every one of them turned out to be an @sshole. It makes it hard to believe anyone, especially if you do come across someone who is honest about their intentions. I wish for luck, for you and me!

Go slower. On the first date, tell them you are a virgin and plan to stay that way until marriage. If they are just looking for an easy lay, they'll leave. The more interest he pays in you and the things you like, the better chance he's with you for the right reasons.

They're doing the right thing. Go to church if you wanna meet somebody as righteous as yourself. Guys are as sholes from only wanting sex from you; women aren't b itches for wanting abstinence.---(well im not sure on that one). Either way, why dont you just be by yourself if you want to ensure a sexless life? Deal with it trick
