Okay my sister asked me this question, say if you wanted a child, and suddenly this person appears with a baby that's a day old that looks just like you and your partner. They tell you that you can either keep this baby or have your own. There's a catch to each one, though, the baby that looks like you will dissapear into an abyss forever and you get to have as many children as you want. But, if you choose the child you have to decide right then if you want to multiply it into how many children you want, but you'll never be able to have your own child. I have no clue where this question came from, and she wants me to answer, and I don't know how. What would you say?

Hypothetical questions can be fun if there is some real possibility that the scenario isn't completely far-fetched. This one is too bizarre for me to comment.

well, I would take my chances with having my own - I like the idea of bonding and taking care of my baby while I am pregnant. being pregnant isn't easy, but there is something about being the one taking care and having a life inside. And, if for some reason I ended up not ever having children, it would be hard, but I would have to accept that that is how is was meant to be. That is just me though- that is a difficult question!
