it just happens and its best if you just wait for your first.
and to have any expectation, i would think might even RUIN it. so just be patient and it'll come.

Believe me, it will come naturally. Here are some tips:
It's best to kiss with your heads off-set at an angle.
Always try to swallow before you kiss. Moist, not wet.
Get your hands in on the action. Caress his face, hold his neck and pull him to you.
Suck and nibble the lips in between tongue-probing.
Every now and then, detour away from the lips, elsewhere on the face.
Don't dominate the kisses. You are kissing together.
Stop in time. Make him want to come back for more.

"Just put your lips together and whistle" Think that from a old Humphrey Bogart Movie. Anyway that about how your lips do, then start with a quick kiss to the Cheek. This help break the ice and not be too Aggressive to flip him out. I think he will enjoy it and may "Whistle" too. ;-)

Don't think to much about it. Just get a little close, close your eyes right before your lips meet, and don't make it TOO long because it might be a little TOO much.
