Some pedagogues (note Rand, your sources are all from Univ. and Colleges) might say that immigration is good for the USA on an economic level (pay attention Rand) but what they don't address, is that the quality of life changes for those of us who are living here now. Too many people. 20 lbs of people in a 5lb can! Not to mention the fact that they speak of legal immigration not ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION. i.e. when your children can't get a good education cuz everyone is trying to speak their own language in school and no one, including native American children (not Amer. Indians) who really should be served first by the American system. Then there's the losses due to crime, fake ID and identity theft, drugs, blood sucking on the social welfare system, clogging the legal system making the need for more prisons, lawyers, judges and infra structures that aren't really positive growth for American FREEDOM. Think of what we could do for legal immigrants and their families (who we should embrace and have done so in the past) as well as our own people if we didn't have to deal with the illegality, language and education issues and so on.
We don't have to yeild to Illegal Imms. and we won't. If the illegals haven't felt the pinch yet, they aren't paying attention or they are drunk or stoned. The party is over for them. It's just a matter of time.

Some companies profit highly from exploiting the illegal trespassers. These companies pay a lot of campaign expenses to the legislators. The laws will not change easily.
We don't really love diversity, we accept a reasonable amount of it, such as in recipes, arts, and sports. But we dislike any group that stays in a totally alien culture and ignores the standard American ethos.
Keep writing your congress about the abuses - they listen to numbers, seldom use their common sense.
As a child of immigrants I watched family members struggle to become American. They wanted to, of course, which is why they came here. There are now people who want to be here just for the opportunity to make money and never respect what we are. Odd, we worked so hard to remove the hyphen, (as in German-American, Polish-American, Chinese-American etc.) and some are fighting to attach it. Go figure.
Look at the Balkans, how they "love diversity". That's possible here too.

You said"immigrants". Which immigrants? I haven't seen any Irish, German, Italian or Asian immigrants making demands. If you actually meant "ILLEGAL" immigrants, that is a whole different thing.

We should not yield to their demands and they should not be given welfare or amnesty. They are parasites on the face of the USA and should be sent back to their homelands. Our kindness has run out! Americans need to get together and run those freeloaders out!! If the government won't enforce our laws, it's the DUTY of the American people to do it!!

Gee, that's funny, I have seen anything but kindness coming from you people. And if you think kindness is weakness, you truly don't understand humanity. I HOPE the love of diversity continues to hold this country together, what would you like a Nazi Germany?

We should not have to yield to the illegal immigrants demands because they have no damn rights...they're illegal. However, if you look at what they are able to get...free healthcare, no taxes, free education for their kids, etc. you will see that they are getting a hell of a lot more than what working Americans who worn born here or have legally migrated here! It is pathetic that we just bend over backwards to support these illegals and let them drain us dry. We can't support our own people, the one's who are here legally, so how can we support the one's who are here illegally. It is a joke that we have let our country get in the shape it is in. If these people want to live her legally and contribute to society and carry their load, that's great, but they don't need to expect a handout. AND the only reason they do expect a handout is because we are giving it to them!!!!

[Why does the American society have to yield to the immigrant(s) (demands)? ]
Of course not, especially if the immigrants are illegal. And too much diversity is not a good thing...

It's all about the vote. That's all congress seems concern about is themselves and holding office and selling out if need be to get relected is what it all comes down too. With all the problems in our country congrees continues to ingore what that vast American public wants them to do. Was flag buring so important congress had to drop everything they were doing and debate the issue. Where is all this flag buring going on that it became so important everything else had to be put on hold ? I certainly only see it going on in other countries. It's about the vote and they do whatever it takes to get that vote.

They are trying to say there is no such place as America, no such thing as an American citizen, or their rights.

They do acknowledge, however, that there is such a think as Mexcio, a Mexican citizen, and their rights.

It's called psychological warfare.

Angela: No matter how many we deport, fine, or jail, this is nothing to do with Nazi Germany. In that respect, Mexico is Nazi Germany for enforceing their much stricter immigration laws. Your not fooling anybody.

Because we are not one voice and stand up and speak together as one voice to let the government know that enough is enough. If we immigrated enmass to their country do you really honestly think the government would change the laws for us...not a chance.

Because we bow to everyone's demands. We treat Islam like it's a religion that deserves equal consideration. We are a nation of pu*****. We will lose our freedoms someday, and it will be because that is the fate we deserve as a people.
