No.

I would like to see a CONDITIONAL amnesty given to all the illegals here now. (Assuming we are stopping more from coming in). The conditions ...

They must learn basic English.
They must learn some American history and culture.
They must be financially dependent, i.e., either employed or have a financial sponsor.
They must swear their allegiance to America and be signed up for the draft. (Within the draft eligibility guidelines)
They will have a FELONY conviction on their records so they can never posses a gun or vote, even if they become citizens.

They must do this within a time frame, such as 1 year. If they don't, or at least show effort after the time frame, they will be deported.

This will only work if we protect our borders. If we keep allowing them in, it's just a waste of time!

I hate the idea of a guest worker program for all illegals in the U.S. Why should they be allowed to jump to the front of the line when there are people that have been waiting to come here the right way. I happen to not care about legal immigration, I just think they should have to wait their turn.

No. Guest worker is just another name for amnesty.
Besides that, if we allow guest workers from Mexico, all other countries will demand the same. We can't do it for one and not the other. What do you think would happen if the East Indians came over here? We are already out sourcing over there and they do alot more that pick fruit.
We can wave bye bye to all sorts of white collar jobs. There will be no end to it.

if a guest worker program were adopted and certain conditions had to be met, ie' financially dependent, employed how quick do you think doument fraud would start supplying the needed paper work to support any condition required. Using the honour system in a already overwhelm system will subject it to abuse just as it did in 1986 where the same ideas then didn't work are the same ideas now that want work now.

No this is a vicious cycle. not mentioning the fact they are already felons. What are we going to do in another 10 years if we don't stop the problem now. I believe a very loud and clear message should be made (We are mad as h**l and we are not going to take you anymore.) Other than oil the USA is mexico's larges source of income. Our government needs to pull it's head out of it's A**. The great United States could be waiving the mexican flag in 10 years.

No, because the illegals have already broken at least one of our laws to get into our country. No rewards for the criminals. Why don't we just give the bank robbers the money they stole when we let them out of jail early. See my point?

All illlegals on expired visas with real SSN who've been paying taxes should get amnesty.
