Cats are naturally trained because they burie their waste. All you need to do is put the kitten in the room with the litter box and allow them to get familiar with its location.

REMEMBER! Always keep the litter box clean or your kitten will find somewhere else to go like in a plant or other dirt sources. Rarely will a kitten go out in the open but it can happen.

Just put him/her in the box every now and then. Cats are very clean animals and if the mother was toilet trained she would have dragged all her kittens to the litterbox!!! So they are toilet trained from birth. Pretty cool huh?

Here is your failproof answer. Take notice of the animals activity. When you notice kitty smelling things take him/her to the litterbox. They will get the idea. Also if you have a pet store nearby they sell a spray that you can use on the litterbox that will attract an animal to the idea of where the potty is.

Cats are much easier to potty train than dogs. Cats just KNOW. You can even litter train outdoor cats by setting out a litterbox.

Cats naturally prefer litter boxes, as was mentioned before, you should bring it frequently to the box to show it. Your box should be far away from the food bowl and in somewhere private. No cover!! It only concentrates the smell. To choose your brand of litter, use several different types to see. And though this may sound odd, you should have a litter box per cat plus one in the house, cats like to deficcate and urinate in separate places. Hope this helped

Usually, their mother trains them to use the litter box.
Show the kitten where the box is, scrape her paw in the sand. She will know what it is for.
If she has an accident, tell her firmly "no!" then put her in the litter box again. Anytime she starts to sniff around, like she might need to poop, put her in the litter box. She should get the idea quickly.

oenstly, Kittens are the easiest animal to train darlin'.

All you have to do is show it it's litter box and put him/her inside to smell and guarnteed they will go in it from now on. Cats are soo easy to train, its ridiculous. Pretty much that's all you have to do.

I did it with all 3 of my cats and they all did it that way. They are already basically trained.

to litter-box train a kitten is pretty hard when is pees or poops in the house tell it it is bad and show it its litter-box maybe put the kitten in the litter-box so they get used to it. when it decides to go in the litter-box reward it!

Just make sure they know where the litter box is and that is in easy access and a slightly hidden (private) place and they should do it on their own. Every cat I know has done this. Cats naturally like to bury their outgoings.
