1 tsp. celery seed
1 tsp. black pepper
1 head cabbage shredded
2 carrots shredded
1 red onion sliced ultra thin
toss marinate in fridge for at least an hour and enjoy

8 cups very finely chopped cabbage
1/4 cup shredded carrot
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/4 cup milk
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup buttermilk
1-1/2 tbsp. white vinegar
2-1/2 tbsp. lemon juice
this is a copycat recipe that tastes like kfc coleslaw,, delicious,even better the next day
Directions:
Be sure that the cabbage and carrots are chopped up into very fine pieces, about the size of rice kernels. Combine the sugar, salt, pepper, milk, mayonnaise, buttermilk, vinegar, and lemon juice and beat until smooth. Add the cabbage and carrots. Mix well. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.

1 head napa or savoy cabbage, shredded
4 carrots, shredded
2 Granny Smith apples, thinly sliced
1 medium red onion, thinly sliced
1 cup pecans, toasted and chopped
Leaves from 1 bunch fresh mint, for garnish
Dressing:
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon cayenne
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
3/4 cup mayonnaise
1 lemon, juiced
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper

Combine the cabbage, carrots, apples, onion, and pecans in a large bowl. Mix well with your hands and set aside.
In a small bowl, stir together the mustard, sugar, cayenne, cumin, mayonnaise, and lemon juice until blended. Season with salt and pepper. Pour the dressing over the cabbage mixture and toss well to coat. Taste again for seasoning, then mound onto a platter and garnish with mint leaves

MEXICAN COLE SLAW
1 cabbage, finely sliced
1 avocado, ripe, peeled and diced
1/2 bunch cilantro, finely diced
1/4 c diced celery
1/2 brown onion, diced
1 fresh jalapeno, seeds removed then diced
Mayo
salt/pepper to taste

In a large bowl - Add the cabbage, then the cilantro, tomato, celery / onion, jalapeno and a dash of salt/pepper.
Add the avocado then 2 -3 tbsp of mayo or just enough to moisten to your taste. Mix well.
Chill for 1 hour and serve cold

Yes I use two bags of already chopped cabbage,2 bell peppers,almost 1 jar of real mayo(thinned down with some milk ),about 3 TBS. of white vinager,salt and pepper to taste. I don't really follow a recipe though. So this is as close as I could get for you.

empty coleslaw mix in large bowl in smaller bowl add a spoonful of mayo and equal amounts of vinegar and sugar stir well, pour over slaw and mix well cover and refrigerate until serving
